Let the novice novelists tell the same tales
Tapping out new lives, a line at a time
Repeat the same old scene
Delete the old details

Purely puerile in their prime
(We were pretty primitive in our prime)

Across the deepest night, the frozen forever
Two visions from the vast appear in your second sight
But you know those stars
They burned out so long ago
